Material design is a design language and is a set of design standards developed by Google. With Material we can develop a single underlying system that provides unified experience across all platforms and device sizes. Material is great for mobile and tablet responsiveness. It makes the web application really lightweight thanks to liberal use of grid-based layouts, responsive animations and transitions. Material Design features attractive UI/UX, and it is based more on the graphic layouts (HTML/CSS) rather than JS events. And although the documentation of Material is very limited at this stage, it is growing rapidly on GitHub.

Advantages of Material UI
Material design is great for branding as it uses flat and light objects. It requires just few colors to brand the entire application.
Material provides attractive UI which engages the user for a longer duration and increases business for clients. It takes care of the user experience which is one of the main reasons why many users uninstall an app on day one.
Material Design is very easy to implement and doesn’t clog the system as it’s very lightweight and doesn’t take much resources either.
Material UI saves lot of money for clients as just one design can be used for web and mobile devices. Availability of free resources such as icon, color pallets etc makes it a perfect solution for most of the modern clients.
